Tubes on Mars

Plant Life?

This
is an image of some roots I pulled out of my yard. It comes from one of the native (I think) trees. I like to keep the native vegetation, as I have a small wildlife habitat. But this plant is non-stop. Its roots are not very deep, but they go on and on. I put this image here to compare with the others. One idea is that the tubes on Mars might be roots. There are other images that look like trees - more about those later.

This
is a fossil imprint of what I think is a twig, a branch, stem, or possibly a root. It comes from Alaska. Notice something about this image. It kind of looks like there is something occupying the space in the yellow area, which appears darker in the scanned image than in reality. Actually nothing exists there, except the mold of the plant life once buried in sediment.

Here is the fossil scanned in black and white - grayscale.
It still looks like something is there.

Here it is inverted. This image looks like the actual fossil.

However, the things that would look like ribbing or dunes if I did this:

are not in such high relief on the actual fossil.

Now -- suppose I said this is an image of Mars? Are we getting a lightbulb moment here?

So
maybe it could be a root after all - albeit, a very large root. Or maybe some other long sinuous living thing made these tracks or molds. We can't rule out anything.

Once
again - the deception of images - scanned, digital, computerized, from NASA's space cameras, or whatever. Recall my illustration of this on page 3 of In Search of the Cydonia Face. The thing to think about is that I know what the actual object is, a rather small rock containing a mold of ancient plant life.

Basically
a mold is made like this:
A cast forms when sediment fills the mold. These are two of several ways fossils develop.

These
images are of Earth objects. Anyone can do what I did here. However, the images from Mars are not so straightforward. And nobody really knows what is in those images - NOBODY. Remember Percival Lowell. It is the same old story, new set of technology. The "tubes" could even be one of these:
